This Guringai Festival focused on youth and the theme was public art on the northern beaches, a passion of mine! I loved this project as I got to go around and take photos of street / public art as well as learn about some I did not know existed.
I produced eight eDMS a month in this role as a designer in a wholesale technology distributor company. We did an A/B test on these two designs. The darker theme was the more successful.
DL Brochures are still a very popular way to convey information even in this digital age. They can be informational, a marketing tool, advertising an event… they are an easy way for people to take the information with them.
To announce the acquisition of Warwick, a new brand of guitars, I designed a chocolate mould of the distinct guitar head with the W and sent to each dealer with a personalised card with their logo.
The strategic community plan is an annual document outlining council’s plan for the community. The theme: a plan the council and community work on together, it is a work in progress. The design reflects this by having hand drawn arrows and highlights, post it notes, coffee cups, markers and coffee stains. A real ‘working’ document.
The Guringai Festival was an annual event highlighting indigenous culture on the northern beaches. The theme was Living Languages. I chose to repeat and overlap aboriginal words, bringing them to life, as a design.
